From its first take-off in 2005 which featured a 20 second clip, YouTube has taken off and is now one of the leading social media platforms used on a daily basis. With an estimated 14 million unique average viewers as of April 2016, why wouldn’t a company use YouTube as a platform to advertise, create and promote their products? This free and easy to access platform allows for viewers to see video footage of products being promoted with the opportunity to ‘like’ ‘comment’ and/or ‘share’ the video footage.

From a business point of view, YouTube is another ideal platform for building customer relationships, promoting products, news and events through paid advertising or simply creating a free account and letting your imagination run wild.
